I have a few questions to discuss with everyone. 1. When a safety valve and a burst disc are used in series, with a pressure transmitter in between for high-level alarm – has anyone seen this approach used? At first I thought there wouldn’t be any pressure behind the burst disk, but it seems there is indeed. It’s the first time I’ve seen this. 2. I’ve seen situations where the pipeline is set at a low point quite often; but what about setting it at a high point? In what situations is it used? 3. There is an absorption tower, and the liquid enters the tower at three different points: an opening at the top of Tower A, the inlet of the circulation pump at the bottom of Tower B, and the outlet of the circulation pump at the bottom of Tower C (there is a discharge level control valve at the bottom of the tower). A comparison of these three locations is welcome; feel free to join the discussion

From an economic perspective, it doesn’t make much sense to transmit over long distances. There must be pressure behind the rupture disc; it serves to protect the safety valve. (2) The high point is generally used during startup, purging, flushing, and pressure testing, and it is usually sealed off. That is, it’s not needed under normal operation. (3) It would be better to have a diagram; I can’t understand what you mean.
3 If liquid pressure is applied, it will be available at the upper part of the absorption tower. You have circulation pumps and transfer pumps here, right?
