Reverse the orientation of the stainless steel ball valve positioning plate

The positioning piece of the stainless steel ball valve was originally on the left side; for easier operation, I would like to move it to the right side. Is this possible? Will it have any impact on the opening and closing of the ball valve? Thank you in advance.

Its purpose is to ensure that the switch stays in place and doesn’t go too far, so the direction doesn’t matter – it can be changed freely as long as it doesn’t affect the switching function or the ability to make judgments.
