In Huocheng County, Ili Region, Xinjiang, the water resource assessment report for the China Power Investment project was approved in June 2015; all approval-related documents have been prepared except for the environmental impact assessment report. For the Xintian Coal Chemical Industry project in Ili Region, Xinjiang, the environmental impact assessment was reprocessed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in March 2020. The Qinghua Energy project in Ili Region, Xinjiang, is under construction, with its first phase already in operation. The Longyu project in Zhundong Region, Xinjiang, had its energy efficiency assessment report approved in April 2015. The Tianye and China National Coal Group projects in Zhundong Region, Xinjiang, are advancing their preliminary work. The Zhejiang Energy Group in Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang, had its environmental impact assessment processed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in February 2015.
