Questions regarding aviation fuel specifications

I have a question: in hydrogenation refining, for diesel, the key parameter is sulfur content; whereas for aviation fuel, it’s silver corrosion. Is silver corrosion also related to sulfur content? Wouldn’t it be sufficient to simply refer to it as sulfur content? I’m a beginner and would appreciate some guidance
The things they represent are different; silver corrosion testing detects thiols and hydrogen sulfide. However, total sulfur includes organic sulfur and inorganic sulfur.
Furthermore, only Chinese aviation fuel requires a silver corrosion index, while foreign aviation fuel does not. Because some of the ignition contacts on aircraft in China are made of silver.
