Project overview: This project aims to use the newly added propane pump to discharge the liquid propane in the compressor intermediate separator into the propane storage tank (3-V4) through pressurization, in cases where the plant needs to be switched over or when the propane system stops operating abnormally. 1. I would like to ask the experts here: Based on the parameters given in the table, is the propane in liquid form?
2. We have chosen vane pumps for this application, but the client keeps bringing up issues related to NPSH. I’m not very familiar with this concept, so I’m reaching out for advice. The maximum suction height of these pumps is 9.5 meters; what should be the appropriate NPSH value? 3. I would appreciate your advice on whether a vane pump is suitable for this operating condition.
