I just went downstairs to send a package, and was hit by an object falling from above at the entrance to the building! Immediately, a cool sensation spread across the top of my foot, followed by pain! My feet, which were wearing sandals, turned red right away. I searched four times and found a piece of balloon debris. I know it’s a water bag that was thrown from a height. I didn’t lift my head to curse; I knew it would be useless anyway. Based on the feeling from the soles of my feet, I knew the floor wasn’t very high; only one or two apartments had their windows open. It’s easy to find out. I don’t want to make a big deal out of it; kids who are willing to do such things must have parents of similar character. I just contacted the property management and asked the security staff to come and handle it, as well as to post a warning sign at the unit door for both adults and children. Throwing objects from a height is no trivial matter; if it hits someone’s head, it can be fatal. Children are not sensible; adults must supervise and educate them properly.
When I used to live in a rented apartment on the first floor, it was part of a shared housing complex. My door faced the balcony. One day, as I was going out, a sock floated down from above, and then a paper box fell right in front of me – it was only a few centimeters away~~~
This is indeed dangerous; it could really cost someone their life!
It is recommended to wear a safety helmet. Hehe, think about it – it’s pretty good to live in a multi-story residential complex! :lol
I was once injured in the head by a crushed cigarette butt; I yelled for help for a long time, but no one came out.
I’m quite calm now; I was just stunned at the time and didn’t know what to say. They spoke Sichuan dialect, and I cursed in my hometown’s dialect; they didn’t understand it, and no one was there to translate. . It’s mainly about education, I guess. .
