The hydraulic diaphragm pumps from Lewa B&L perform well in the petrochemical industry. Your sample has a somewhat high particle content, so pay attention to the service life of the diaphragm. For pure transfer, consider using a process diaphragm pump; they usually have three plungers, the flow rate is not adjustable, but they are more compact.
I’ve been using Riva, but I need to compare it with a few other options. Could someone from those other companies give me their number? It’s purely for transportation, and it mainly contains solids; this poses some difficulties, as the valve balls tend to wear out quickly. One manufacturer in China told us that the valve balls last only one month – that’s an extremely short lifespan.

If it is only for transfer, it is not recommended to use a metering pump, as most metering pumps have high requirements regarding the cleanliness of the medium; other types of pumps can be chosen instead.
