Sea friends in the forum, do the methanol-water separation towers used in low-temperature methanol washing tend to get clogged or corroded? A few years ago, I came across Texaco’s heavy oil gasification process, and the floating valve trays used in the methanol-water separation towers of the methanol washing units were prone to clogging. We intended to carry out a technical modification, but the plant had to stop operating. Does this phenomenon occur in the methanol-water separation towers used in current coal chemical industries?
