In the purification functions of sewage lift systems, activated carbon adsorbers play an important role in cleaning wastewater. It is necessary to replace these adsorbers from time to time to prevent their effectiveness from declining over time. How can one replace and install activated carbon purifiers to ensure the proper functioning of sewage lift systems? Below, the editor will explain the steps for replacement: 1. After removing the old activated carbon, when installing new activated carbon in the adsorber, check the stability of the filter cap to prevent it from falling off during use after the activated carbon has been filled in. 2. Based on the desired level of wastewater purification and the local quality of the wastewater, empirical methods are used to determine the quantity and type of coagulant required. This is an important material related to the dirt removal capacity of the sewage lift system; using too much of it results in waste of material, while using too little does not yield good results. It should also be added before using the pump. 3. During the operation of the system, control the amount of wastewater entering, trying to ensure that it does not exceed the expected maximum level. The opening degree of the backwash valve is designed in accordance with the relevant standards, and backwashing is carried out as specified, to prevent the formation of mud balls over a short period of time during use from affecting the quality of wastewater treatment. 4. Properly carry out the flushing procedure for the activated carbon adsorber: Open the drain valve, then close the water inlet pump and the water inlet valve, and perform backwashing according to the specified flushing intensity. Then, close the drain valve and open the exhaust valve and the water inlet valve; start the water pump. Once all the air from the adsorber has been expelled, close the exhaust valve to check whether the adsorber is working properly. 5. In the final step, several adsorbers are connected together to carry out the final operational checks, and thus the activated carbon adsorber for the sewage lifting system is installed.
