As the title suggests, how can we prevent the display panels of flowmeters, transmitters, and even pressure tapping valves from being altered without permission?
If the on-site instruments have parameter passwords for protection, this approach can be used to achieve that goal, but it isn’t an effective method. The instrument parameters should be accessible in any case; what’s really important is for the personnel working with these instruments to develop good habits. After all, who would do something pointless just because they have nothing else to do?
Users also have instrument operators who sometimes modify parameters for the sake of meeting certain metrics
It might be better to install the transmitter in a locked protective box, so that at least the balance valve can’t be moved.
The instrument panel is locked, the valves are sealed with wax seals, and the instruments have passwords set
The instruments can be encrypted, and seals can be applied to valve connections and similar areas.....
Use multiple locks; it requires multiple people to be present simultaneously to open it, and a password is set for the control panel.
I’ve seen it; for measuring instruments, both the seller and the buyer install a camera each.
Locking for encryption is one method; if another method is used, it’s essential to keep a record of the original data

This is a problem related to the company’s management systems and their implementation. Discipline is the guarantee for implementing the line, so by strengthening discipline, all tasks will be successfully accomplished.
