Is Emerson DCS after-sales service adequate?

Our company is conducting a bidding process, but we have no experience with Emerson DCS and have never worked with it before; we are not sure whether the after-sales service is adequate, nor whether it is easy to learn how to use it
It’s not difficult to get started, and the system-related support is good. However, their after-sales team doesn’t know much about issues that occur on-site, and it’s not cheap either.
It’s quite useful. The engineers from the manufacturer are quite good; if there are any issues, they will respond promptly via phone call.
The on-site service fee is quite high; I’ve used it before
