How is the pressure for the expansion tank and oil storage tank in a heat transfer oil boiler determined? Is it low-pressure? First, thank you all, experts
And how is the height of the expansion tank determined?
Generally, the temperature of heat transfer oil boilers does not exceed 320 degrees, with a few being able to reach over 350 degrees; heat transfer oil boilers are type of atmospheric pressure boilers. Additionally, the bottom of the expansion groove is generally required to be more than 1.5 meters above the highest point of the boiler; it does not need to be directly above the boiler.
Expansion tanks come in two types: open and closed, depending mainly on the operating temperature of the heat transfer oil as well as its physicochemical properties. The expansion tank in an open system is in direct contact with the atmosphere, while closed systems generally use nitrogen sealing to maintain a slightly positive pressure. The design, manufacturing, installation, and other aspects of heat transfer oil furnace systems shall comply with the requirements of the \"Regulations on Safety Supervision of Boilers\" TSG G 0002-2012. If the expansion tank is open-type, its design and manufacture shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 4735; if it is a pressure vessel, it shall comply with the provisions of GB 150. The same applies to the low-level sump.
The height of the expansion tank is three meters higher than that of the boiler; it should not be located directly above the boiler, with low pressure
The height of the lowest point of the expansion tank must not only be higher than that of the boiler, but also 1.5 meters higher than the highest pipe in the entire heat transfer oil system. Otherwise, it cannot run. :)
There is normal pressure (not used currently), nitrogen-filled type (with a slight positive pressure of around 101.335 Kpa), and then there are closed systems under pressure
