Reasons for the whistling sound in liquid ring compressors

This unit uses a STERLING liquid ring compressor with two impellers. The mechanical seal and bearings are all newly replaced spare parts. When the device starts, there is a whistling sound – it’s quite sharp, but intermittent. The temperature of the mechanical seal is 60 degrees, while the temperature of the bearing on the drive side is 56 degrees. The temperature of the bearing on the non-drive side is higher, at 75 degrees, and it shows a tendency to rise further. During maintenance, the adjustment amount was 45 mm in total: 23 mm for the drive side and 22 mm for the non-drive side. It should not be there any friction at the end face of the impeller. White oil is used as the liquid ring medium; could anyone please explain why a whistling sound appears as soon as the device starts, and why the source of this sound isn’t clear? Waiting online now; if the problem can’t be solved, it’s over :(
It certainly can’t be the whistling sound caused by friction at the impeller’s end face; I suspect it’s caused by the gas channels.
Mm-hmm, this sound sounds really hollow; it’s hard to determine where it’s coming from. Could you please tell me how to fix this issue?~
Use a stethoscope to listen at the location of the check valve to see if it is the check valve emitting the sound Also, check whether there are any air leaks in the piping system
