In an intrinsically safe junction box, intrinsically safe signals are generally connected inside; there are also a few flameproof digital signals. What are the consequences of mixing these signals in one box? Moreover, the flameproof digital single-core cables are connected to the box, while the intrinsically safe signals are transmitted via multi-core cables. What kind of mutual influence can there be if intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe signals are combined in the intrinsically safe multi-core cables?
Doing so violates the specifications; intrinsically safe and flameproof signal cables cannot be mixed together.
