To minimize the company’s losses, and in particular to prevent injuries to personnel and critical equipment, the following emergency plan for dealing with heavy rainstorms/thunderstorms has been formulated: I. Organizational leadership 1. Company Emergency Leadership Team for Heavy Rainstorms II. Emergency measures 1. Personnel preparation: Each workshop in the company shall form an emergency response team, consisting of electricians and at least 5 volunteer employees from the workshops; these members should have knowledge of handling general accidents and be trained in drills and emergency response tasks; A system of duty supervisors is implemented for night shifts, while regular duties are rotated among the supervisors of various production workshops. In case of warnings of strong electricity or heavy rain, electricians are assigned to be on duty as well ; 2. Material preparation: Each department shall identify and mark the areas with potential safety hazards, and work together with the Equipment Department to carry out comprehensive rectifications ; Each workshop should draw circuit diagrams of the electrical wiring within its area, and clearly label all main switches ; For areas that are prone to water infiltration and are low-lying, prepare cement powder for sealing leaks. Sandbags should be prepared in advance in all workshops and offices to prevent heavy rain from flooding these areas and damaging the equipment ; The Equipment Department has prepared 3 emergency drainage pumps as spares ; The Equipment Department identifies the company’s drainage system in advance ; 3. Emergency activation procedure: In the event of severe heavy rain, the General Affairs Department will issue warnings via text message or OA ; Upon receiving the warning, the supervisors immediately arranged for personnel to prepare for emergencies and checked the supplies ; When there is severe rain that night, emergency response teams should be on duty ; When there is severe thunderstorm that night, the power supply to the workshop should be turned off in advance, and no production should take place. Before the heavy rain arrived, the duty staff continuously patrolled the company to check that doors and windows were closed and that electrical safety measures were in place. During heavy rain, if there is water leakage inside the building, the power supply should be cut off immediately, workers should be evacuated in an orderly manner, and valuable equipment should be protected. In the event of lightning, the power supply to important facilities and equipment other than lighting should be cut off as much as possible, to prevent electrical appliances from being damaged by lightning strikes. III. Authorization and Reporting In emergency situations, the person on duty has the authority to make decisions first and report afterwards, such as in cases of partial power outages in the workshop, a complete plant-wide power outage, or orders to suspend operations ; 1. After emergency measures are initiated, the overall command and control authority over the rescue team ; 2. Summarize the incident afterward, gradually improve the emergency response procedures, and reduce the company’s losses.
Be careful to protect areas prone to leaks due to high temperatures from rain, in order to prevent leaks at the flanges caused by temperature fluctuations.
Pay attention to the issue of oil and gas backflow from the device’s sewage well, and address it promptly to prevent it from entering the rainwater system and causing environmental accidents

IV. Make proper adjustments to the heating furnace; heavy rain can cause a drop in furnace temperature, an increase in negative pressure, and a decrease in oxygen content. It is necessary to carry out relevant adjustments in advance. V. Impact of the tower top air cooler; if necessary, the cooler can be temporarily stopped.
