As the title suggests, what are the functions of ion exchangers and resin traps in a methanol synthesis plant?
I think it is to capture TMA (Trimethylamine) produced in the methanol synthesis reaction; the resin catcher is likely used to collect the resin carried out from the ion exchanger.
Where can I find this thing? Haven’t seen it

Are you referring to the desalination unit? Ion exchange desalination is used, and resin traps are employed to prevent the loss of ion exchange resin.
