Dear sea friends, does anyone have the technical drawings for a leakage test bench for mechanical seals? A simple version will do; I’m seeking help
A leakage testing bench for mechanical seals is something that most manufacturers of such seals have; it includes static pressure tests and dynamic tests. For the static pressure test, all that’s needed is to create some kind of testing fixture, and no special testing bench is required; For dynamic testing, a test bench is required, as the mechanical seal needs to rotate; you need to install the mechanical seal on this test bench. It generally includes a drive motor, a gearbox, and specialized fixtures, in addition to some measuring cups for determining the amount of leakage.
It is something that all general mechanical seal manufacturers have, including static pressure tests and dynamic tests

Buy a pump, create your own pump head, and the shaft diameter can be adjusted according to the diameter of the mechanical seal shaft. If the conditions permit for the mechanical seal, install an inverter-driven motor on the pump; otherwise, the pump head will need to be modified separately
