Safety management organizations vary from company to company; some have dedicated safety management departments, while others integrate such functions with environmental protection efforts. Some are related to occupational health, while others are related to quality. Please discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Small businesses are generally associated with environmental protection. . Abbreviated as EHS Department: lol ; In terms of occupational health, it is also governed by safety measures; essentially, this involves appointing a person in charge of occupational health. It’s located together with the quality department; I’ve never heard of that. . I guess hazardous materials companies wouldn’t do something like that either. . Now, the Anfa regulations emphasize the need to appoint dedicated security personnel/institutions. . . There aren’t really any major advantages or disadvantages; large companies have excellent security departments, while in smaller companies, the security department’s role is somewhat limited. .
The Safety Law requires the establishment of dedicated safety management agencies. The Regulations Department of the General Administration for Work Safety emphasized in its interpretations that HSE (Safety, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health) management agencies do not meet the requirements; according to the Safety Law, such agencies should be called Safety Departments or Safety Sections (focused solely on safety):D
