I’m seeking help from experts. Our SIS system uses the TRICON system, and in recent months we’ve been experiencing random malfunction alerts related to card issues every few weeks. It’s not possible to collect any error information using the diagnostic software, but the problem is resolved each time the cards are removed and reinserted. There was once a situation where none of the DI/DO cards gave any alerts, but the power card connected to the control card did; after various attempts to diagnose the issue, the problem was solved by removing and reinserting the remote DI cards. I was looking at forums recently and wondering if it’s related to the grounding of the field instruments; if so, how can I troubleshoot it? Thank you~
It might be a problem with the card itself
It shouldn’t be; I’ve replaced it with several different cards already. I don’t have any spare ones right now, so I’m just making do with what I have
Yeah, yeah, it’s absolutely amazing. . . . . :@
Consult the manufacturer; if this keeps happening, problems will arise
The manufacturer has been here many times, but they still can’t solve it. . . .
Our company has also encountered this issue; representatives from the manufacturer came to check the grounding and power supply, and concluded that the power supply requirement for the Tricon system is a TN-S wiring system.
Oh, thank you, sir. It seems there’s nothing that can be done
