Issues with chemical dosing in steam generators during use?

A steam generator has been designed into the system, using deoxygenated water; a phosphoric acid dosing unit is installed alongside it to reduce scaling. Is this unit used in normal operations? I think since deoxygenated water is being used, there’s no need to add any chemicals anymore. Thank you.
Chemicals must be added, as there are still high levels of calcium and magnesium ions in the deoxygenated water; this is to prevent issues with steam quality and to avoid scaling in the steam generator
What specifications are required to purchase trisodium phosphate? Thank you.

Deoxygenated water is added to the drum； It serves to raise the pH and remove scale. We use food-grade trisodium phosphate, which is not expensive – 5,000 yuan per ton.
They do need to be added – it’s sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hydroxide. These substances are used to prevent trace amounts of magnesium and calcium ions from forming large deposits of scale on the walls of the equipment, as this could affect heat transfer or cause localized overheating that may damage the equipment. Generally, such deposits are removed along with the water discharged during regular cleaning
