Sir, may I ask where a combustible gas analyzer (LEL) should be installed near the diesel pump used for water extraction, and how should it be installed? Thank you.
Installed below the diesel pump for pumping water. . .
It’s not an analyzer; it’s a detector. Combustible gases are lighter than air and rise upward, so it should be installed at a higher position
What combustible gases are being measured by the diesel water pump? ? !
What is measured are volatile alkanes, to prevent leaks and spills
Propane and butane are present at the site. Diesel mixes easily with flammable gases.
