Some people say that career success is the result of hard work, implying that effort is more important than opportunity; if one does not work hard when an opportunity arises, success remains just theoretical. But some people say that in achieving success in one’s career, opportunities play a more important role than effort. Without opportunities, no matter how hard one tries, one might end up with untapped talent and only regret in the end. So which view do you support? I think it’s hard work, because all opportunities come from hard work. The reason why luck favors some people over others is that their regular efforts change the probability of them encountering opportunities in the future. So, work hard.

The real management positions with high salaries are filled by those who know how to identify talent. As a manager, you won’t be afraid, as long as you know who to assign the task to and when it can be completed.
In companies focused on research and development or design firms, technology is likely to play a major role, but there are always those who are more skilled than you; after all, people’s energy is limited, and their expertise and available time vary. But in reality, how many managers do really understand technology? Managers simply need to place the right people in the right positions; they don’t have to be overly knowledgeable or specialized. For technical professionals, if 300,000 per year isn’t enough, then 500,000; if that still isn’t sufficient, 1 million. There must be a suitable salary amount. After the task is completed, the person can be replaced, or some kind of partnership can be established to keep them on board for future use.
