Cresol purification falls under the category of small-scale chemical manufacturing, with generally limited production capacity. With discontinuous production, there are many considerations to keep in mind when selecting and designing such instruments. Has anyone in the forum done this process? How should instruments, particularly pressure and level instruments, be considered? Those who have experience with this process are also invited to share their suggestions!

There’s nothing special about the instruments, but do all these phenols contain crystalline substances? Should pressure transmitters be used for measuring the liquid level in the tanks, or should radar ultrasonic sensors be employed? It seems that radar ultrasonic sensors may not be reliable Is the pressure test of the tank conducted at the top or the bottom of the tank?
