This year isn’t particularly busy; I’ve spent a few months studying for the chemical engineering exam, but so far I still feel like I’m not ready enough. The exam schedule hasn’t been announced yet, so I’m not sure if this can be considered a setback. I can no longer stand watching content related to fire safety certifications. I noticed that there’s a new exam for certified fire engineers this year; I wonder if anyone here is familiar with it? I have a degree in chemical engineering, work for a small chemical company, do not possess the necessary qualifications, and am not involved in any fire-related tasks. Can I still apply for this exam? Are there any other students taking the exam together? I heard that registration starts in late October.
I’ve received many calls recently recommending that I take the exam to become a certified fire engineer; I’m not sure what exactly it involves, and I’m also hesitating~~~
I’ve asked around; it takes four years to complete a master’s degree in chemical engineering, and six years for an undergraduate degree. The work certificate must be issued by a company, which must have the necessary fire safety qualifications. A social security certificate is also required, and the company that issues it must be the same one listed in the social security records – this is the case in Jiangsu
Uh... that means many kids working in small chemical companies won’t be able to take the exam, and I’m also in doubt – I don’t have any qualifications
Does a company with fire safety qualifications just need to issue a certificate, or is social insurance also required? And when are the exams held?

That’s what it’s like in Jiangsu; I’m not sure how it is in other places. As long as the social security records for that month match those of the company that issued your employment certificate at the time of verification, that’s sufficient
I would like to ask everyone here: I work at a small chemical engineering design firm. If I want to apply for this exam, can my employer issue an approval letter? Does the company need to have relevant fire safety qualifications in order to do so? If they cannot issue such a letter, what should I do if I still want to take the exam?
What level is it? At the first level, for a bachelor’s degree, 4 years are sufficient. Specifically: one must have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in fire engineering, with 4 years of work experience, of which at least 3 years must be spent in fire safety-related work; or one must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field to fire engineering, with 5 years of work experience, of which at least 4 years must be spent in fire safety-related work. ” --If one has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, it falls under the latter category, i.e., related fields ； I have been working for 5 years, of which 4 years have been spent in fire protection technology.
Exam dates: December 19 and December 20 this year
I bought the book on Taobao. Three tutorials, one outline. Three sets of practice problems. Three test papers. I want to take an exam. If one is not qualified, there is nothing to do but give up.
