As the title suggests, the pipes are made of stainless steel. What about the pipe supports? Should all of them also be made of stainless steel? Are the pipes plain, without any insulation?
A stainless steel gasket will do; it can also be used to create a support, which is placed on the pipe rack so that the stainless steel pipe itself does not come into contact with the steel frame
Could you please tell me what kind of shims you mean by “shims”, and what kind of brackets you mean by “brackets”? Thank you!

The backing plate is a stainless steel plate that is welded directly to the pipe, and then a carbon steel bracket is welded to the stainless steel plate, in order to prevent direct contact between the stainless steel pipe and carbon steel. If it is a fake leg attached to a elbow, first weld a 200mm long stainless steel pipe to the elbow, and then weld a carbon steel pipe to it. If it is a pipe clamp or mounted directly on the steel structure, place a thin stainless steel plate or a non-metallic gasket with a chloride content of less than 50 mg/kg between the pipe and the clamp or structure.
This can be secured with pipe clamps, with isolation pads in between.
It is not necessary; you can refer to the approach in HG/T21629.
It’s fine to use non-metallic washers between the pipes and supports; for small sizes, stainless steel isn’t a problem either
Non-metallic gaskets are usually used, but it is important to ensure that their chloride content is less than 25 ppm
Use stainless steel where it comes into contact with stainless steel, and carbon steel for the rest. For example, in the case of pipe clamps, using 2mm stainless steel plates to separate the clamps from the pipes will do. A T-shaped bracket allows for a small protective plate to be welded onto the pipe, with the T-shaped carbon steel bracket being welded to that plate.
Strictly speaking, it’s not possible; if cost savings are desired, at least the areas in contact with the pipes should be lined with stainless steel gaskets or non-metallic thermal pads.
