Due to severe gas entrainment of washing oil in our company, a large amount of washing oil accumulates in the coal gas pipelines returning to the furnace, increasing the system resistance. Do any of you experienced colleagues have any solutions?

Installing a demisting system after the benzene washing tower is one solution, but it also increases the maintenance workload for multiple pieces of equipment. The best approach is to strengthen the implementation of process regulations, strictly control the oil content in the gas after passing through the benzene washing tower, and clean the tower regularly to prevent uneven gas flow.
Sprayed with hot ammonia water, the liquid is discharged from below, processed in a biological treatment facility after oil removal, and then coking is removed.
The reason is that the mist capture layer at the top of the benzene washing tower is too thin, resulting in severe entrainment of washing oil by the gas. How should this be resolved?
