Experts, when calculating EDR shell-and-tube coolers, or specifically those that use internal fins as cooling elements, which type of tube should be used for the calculations? In htri, there is an option for Continuous Fin for calculation; EDR’s air-cooled versions also have similar modular options. Why isn’t there such an option for shell-and-tube types? I would also appreciate some advice from the experts here; thank you!
Aren’t the fin options under tube type those ones?
