We have two softeners, No. 1 and No. 2, which operate simultaneously; however, due to the issue with the pneumatic valve on No. 1, it often needs to be manually activated in order to function. Over the past two months, Unit 2 has been regenerated seven or eight times, but Unit 1 has not undergone regeneration yet as its water hardness levels have always met the required standards after testing. It used to read around 30, but now the hardness reading is below 10. I would like to know what’s going on here? Could my older brothers and sisters help explain it? Thank you so much!
Is there a short circuit in the water supply, with one inlet having more water and another having less?
