Classification is based on the medium being natural gas...
But it doesn’t have any air inlet or anything; there are only a few oil in/out ports. . Why was natural gas chosen?
Of course, it uses natural gas as the medium; it has nothing to do with the inlet. As long as the sealed container falls within the scope of application of the Regulations on Solid Pressure Vessels, it is considered a pressure vessel.
Obviously, natural gas is entrained or separated when dirty oil enters, so it is classified according to natural gas
When there is natural gas and the gas phase pressure PV is greater than 2.5 MPa, it is of course subject to supervision under the fixed-volume regulation. Natural gas is considered explosive, so it should be classified as such! ! !
Ordinary users need to specify the approximate composition and content of the medium; they are generally grouped according to the medium with the most severe properties. In the case of the medium mentioned by the poster, natural gas is definitely the main component, and methane is an explosive substance, so it should be classified as part of the first group of media. Once that is done, the poster can then determine the appropriate category for it.
