How is the speed of a centrifugal blower classified? Is a speed below 5000 considered low speed, and a speed above 5000 considered high speed?
It should be above 3,000 revolutions per minute to be considered high speed, right?
Generally, 3000 r/min is used as the threshold; fans equipped with a speed increase gearbox that operate at speeds above 3000 r/min are considered high-speed fans. However, standard textbooks do not classify fans based on their speed. Classification of fans: I. Classification of fans by pressure 1. Ventilators: Exhaust pressure is below 0.115 MPa. 2. Blowers: Exhaust pressure is between 0.115 and 0.35 MPa. 3. Compressors: Exhaust pressure is above 0.35 MPa. 4. High-pressure centrifugal fans: (3000–15000) Pa. 5. Medium-pressure centrifugal fans: (1000–3000) Pa. 6. Low-pressure centrifugal fans: Below 1000 Pa. 7. High-pressure axial flow fans: 500–5000 Pa. 8. Low-pressure axial flow fans: Below 500 Pa. II. Type D drive – The impeller is mounted in a cantilever manner relative to the fan casing through a bearing box, and it is connected to the motor via a coupling. 6. High speed is considered to be above 3,000 revolutions per minute; 3,000 revolutions per minute is the synchronous speed
The so-called high speed and low speed mainly depend on whether there is a transmission device.
It has an accelerator, 4800 revolutions per minute – can that be considered high speed?
It can be considered so, but there’s currently no classification standard for this one!
As long as there is a gearbox, it can operate at high speeds
For the equipment in my factory, which doesn’t have a speed increase gearbox, how do I calculate the rotational speed of 4220–4570? It should be the rotational speed of the fan shaft, and this is unrelated to whether there is a speed increase gearbox or not
