Which manufacturers are currently promoting MTP and MTO catalysts in China? Where do the technologies come from? Are molecular sieves produced in-house or purchased externally?
MTO is a UOP technology, and the catalysts are also produced by UOP. DMTO is a technology from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, and the catalyst is produced by CP Group. MTP is from Lurgi in Germany, and the catalysts are also produced by them.
As for the molecular sieve you mentioned, I’m not sure which one you’re referring to :)

The Luchi catalyst is produced by Southern Chemicals, (Klein)
Many enterprises in Shandong are engaged in this area, and Tianuo New Materials in Zhenjiang produces MTP catalysts with good performance.
The MTG and MTP catalysts produced by Henan Zhonghong Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly Haohua Junhua Catalyst Company) are also of good quality.
Does Henan Zhonghong Qinghao Energy produce MTP catalysts or MTO catalysts?
This post was last edited by Guderian on 2016-6-26 at 11:42. It can be used as catalysts for methanol to gasoline (MTG) and methanol to propylene (MTP) processes. Two dosage forms were prepared: fixed-bed and fluidized-bed. A side line was installed in Fengfeng, Hebei, and the results were quite good.
Are there any industrial applications? If any, please list some examples
