Does a product quality certificate for pressure vessels need to include a quality certificate for the safety valve?
If the manufacturer is responsible for providing the safety valve under the contract, it should come with a quality certificate for the safety valve.
According to regulation 1.6, safety valves fall under the category of pressure vessels and therefore a quality certificate should be issued. However, requirements in this regard vary from one inspection agency to another, so it’s best to consult the local inspection agency!
Anything with valves must come with a certificate.
