How long can the chiller operate after tripping, and does the load need to be adjusted?

It can last for about three hours. The load must be reduced.
Based on the load level of the system, our unit can withstand 4 hours after the ice maker stops working, with temperatures reaching as low as -30 degrees. The design requirement is however -60 degrees. We immediately reduced the load, as it takes around 20 minutes to restart the system in its hot state after the ice maker stops functioning. We kept our load at the lowest level and held on for 4 hours
The load needs to be reduced first; otherwise, it won’t last long. By reducing it to the lowest level, it can hold up for 3 hours without issue.
