If a pressure vessel does not have AB welds, but instead uses seamless tubes and flanges connected by fillet welds, is it still necessary to specify radiographic inspection in the drawings? Have you encountered similar situations? I’d appreciate some advice.

What is this product? Heat exchangers also have Class B welds! No end cap? Are both ends sealed with flanges? I have never seen products without Class A or B welds. Seeking advice!
The heat exchangers have no butt joints; all connections are corner welds.

Reason: The drawings specify the requirements for non-destructive testing of welds as they exist in theory; in practice, such testing is not necessary if no welds are present. Unless you are certain that the manufacturing process can be carried out entirely in accordance with your design specifications, if issues such as seams occur during production and you have no rules to address them, there will be problems, right?

What is the length of the seamless tube container? Is concatenation allowed? If allowed, there will be Type B connectors.
