During desulfurization operation, the solution temperature is 30 degrees, the total alkalinity is around 4.5–5.0, PDS is 75–85 ppm, and the hydrogen sulfide level after the tower is below 30. Sulfur paste is produced using a centrifuge; the amount of sulfur paste obtained per day is not large. Tests show that the suspended sulfur content is above 2000 mg/L. I would like to know the reasons for this high level of suspended sulfur and the methods to address it

Tar and naphthalene present in gas can reduce the activity of the catalyst in the solution; it is necessary to strictly control the level of tar in the gas to below 50 mg/m3 and that of naphthalene to below 500 mg/m3, in order to maintain good catalyst activity
Foam flotation is not working well; check the color of the desulfurization liquid (if it is dark), and adjust the operation of your electrostatic tar catcher to ensure that the concentration of coal tar dust in the gas before the desulfurization tower remains below 20 mg/m3
