Additional notes on the partition technology team management: The manager panel for partition leaders has been upgraded, and the notifications sent to the technicians under their supervision now follow the same format as those sent to the moderators in charge of those partitions. The addition of technical staff in the regional sections has been changed so that only a list is displayed on the front-end interface; there are no automatic changes to the member groups defined. Any changes to groups now require manual intervention. (The person in charge of each region has access, on the member profile page, to upgrade such members to technical staff or remove them from that role, as well as to add or remove corresponding technical badges.) If you need to upgrade technical staff to engineers or higher positions, or to remove someone from such positions, please contact boyirensheng to make the necessary arrangements. The section leader can assign technical section badges to members, such as those of Technician. Three administrators and designated senior technicians can also assign such badges, with options including Technician, Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Senior Technical Advisor. —————————————————— For adding or removing the “Technician” role: This is done in two steps. First, in the moderator/expert settings panel, add or remove usernames from the list of technical experts (use commas to separate multiple names; this is only for display on the front-end list and does not automatically change the member’s group status – manual action is required for group changes). Second, the section leader must set the user group for the member being added or removed (either Technician or a regular group), as well as determine the badge to be assigned (Step 1 is carried out in the section leader’s management panel, while Step 2 is done on the member’s personal profile page). —— Upgrading Technicians to Engineers or higher ranks, as well as removing members from these ranks, is handled by boyirensheng (or someone he designates), who is responsible for reviewing and making the necessary group changes as well as assigning the appropriate badges. —— If the section leader wants to remove Engineers, Senior Engineers, or Senior Technical Advisors from their roles, he simply needs to edit the front-end list and then inform the management to change their group status to regular groups. (After the full functional upgrade, team leaders for certain partitions can directly remove or configure them.)
