The company currently has a tank container in use as a storage tank, filled with pure dimethylamine； Question 1: Can tank containers be used as storage tanks, and which standards govern this? ； Question 2: If it is to be used as a regular storage tank, what additional safety measures are required? Are safety measures such as cofferdams, static electricity bonding, and automatic control with remote monitoring necessary? ；
In my personal opinion, it cannot be used as a storage tank! I’m not aware of the specific standards!

Dimethylamine does not have a high critical pressure; is it stored in liquid form inside tank containers? There should be a separate room or area for use; it must not be located in the tank area, and it is classified as a Class A factory building. It’s not in the tank area, so there’s no need to build a fire dike. The **chemical safety measures and emergency response principles for the first batch of substances under strict supervision (Document No. An Jian Zong Tang Guan San 142)** mention dimethylamine; the recommended safety measures can be found in that document as well as in the safety data sheet for dimethylamine.
Dimethylamine exists as a liquefied gas; if used as a storage tank, does this tank container still require regular annual inspections?
