I am currently working on the development of a system for efficient utilization of waste heat from upward-flow columns. With crude oil prices having dropped by half and the coal chemical industry facing a critical moment of survival, energy conservation and reduction of consumption are inevitable choices for development; My next technical approach is to work together with others on integrating non-gas dry quenching of coke with the utilization of waste heat from rising pipes, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the coking industry. It seems I didn’t explain it clearly; my apologies. This project is looking for a company to collaborate on conducting parallel tests, which will help improve development efficiency; just 2 rising pipes are required. Safety aspects have been discussed numerous times with the coking workshop, and there is redundancy in terms of safety measures, so the first company to participate will definitely be the beneficiary. The saturated steam at the same pressure as that used in dry quenching, generated through waste heat recovery in the rising pipe, is combined with the steam from the dry quenching drum outlet and sent together for superheating, after which electricity can be generated.
