A pressure reducing valve is installed on the circulating water pipeline; is it necessary to add a design filter in front of the valve? The space on site is tight; I was thinking of not including it, but I’m not sure if that’s possible The pressure relief valve is of type Y42H-10, and the circulating water pressure is 0.60 MPa.
There’s no need to add it; it’s not necessary. The regulations don’t specify such a requirement, right?
Personally, I recommend adding one; you could consider using a threaded Y-type filter. Although pipelines without a filter rarely have any problems, having one provides extra safety by eliminating even those last 5% of potential issues
