Briefly describe the methods for checking the straightness of towers and tower sections
Currently, there are many methods for measuring straightness, such as the laser measurement method, the latitude and longitude measurement method, and the string tension measurement method. In actual production, the pull-wire measurement method is commonly used. Under normal circumstances, the alignment of the cylinder sections in each segmented tower is carried out on a jig, which generally ensures that the allowable tolerances are met. However, after alignment, a tensioning method is used for further verification, and welding can proceed only once the required standards are satisfied.
