Seasonal demand picks up; aromatic solvent oils continue to rise

“The \"Golden September and Silver October\" period represents the traditional peak season for demand for aromatic solvent oils in China. With lower production rates in the industry and tight supplies of raw materials, the domestic market for aromatic solvent oils continued to show a slight upward trend.
Recently, the domestic aromatic solvent oil market has continued its previous slight upward trend. International oil prices have risen continuously in recent times, driving the domestic crude oil price change rate to remain positive, and expectations of another round of increases in refined oil prices are on the rise. Coupled with the demand for diesel replacement in northern regions, demand for blended diesel has been strong recently, which has contributed to a decent atmosphere for shipments at the market; as a result, the prices of aromatic solvent oils continue to rise. Additionally, some manufacturers have reported that the crude oil processing load at the main refineries was low in October, resulting in a reduction in C10 resources available for reformation. Raw material resources are somewhat tight, and the limited production of aromatic solvent oils also contributes to higher prices.
