Steam flash tank, with steam condensate as the medium; operating pressure of 1.6 MPa, operating temperature of 201°C, and operating density of 865 kg/m3. It is equipped with an electric float level gauge and a magnetic flap level gauge. It has been in use for over 5 years, and recently there has been a discrepancy between the two gauges – when the liquid level is below 30%, their readings are fairly similar. However, as the liquid level rises, the discrepancy increases, reaching up to 35% in some cases. Help needed! ! ! ! ! !
Check whether there has been a change in the medium density, and whether the weight of the float has changed...

The best and most thorough way to solve the problem is to calibrate the float level gauge on-site.
It was repaired, but the problem appeared again after a short time – should the torque tube be replaced?
Check the magnetic flip switch as well; there could be a problem there as well, it’s not necessarily an issue with the electric float.
For these reasons, the possibility of a problem with the circuit board cannot be ruled out; issues such as aging of electrical components and reduced performance may occur, and these can be addressed by replacing the components one by one.
The magnetic flap has been checked – no problems!
