Can the methanol circulation rate reflect the load?
Of course that’s possible! But it’s best to consider the volume of gas being transformed to determine the load!

It must be the processing volume of the process gas that matters; for the same volume of process gas, different operating conditions result in different circulation volumes. What was said upstairs – things like tower deflection – can only indicate a certain level of load to some extent, but they shouldn’t be used as the primary reference
Check the magnitude of the methanol circulation rate, as well as the volume of process gas entering the washing tower
Based on the amount of gas produced after the transformation, if the composition exceeds the specified limits, the circulation rate of methanol must be increased appropriately according to the test results
What we refer to as the load of the methanol wash process is actually the processing capacity of that unit, that is, the volume of feed gas entering it (including both converted and unconverted gas). This is the standard term used in the industry, and there’s no issue with that.
