How to choose? ?

In my hometown (a third-tier city), I found an environmental protection company that had recently gone public; I got a position related to instrumentation there. However, my salary is lower than what was agreed upon during the interview – it’s about 1000 yuan less. The work is easy, and I’m basically in charge of the billing department. I also get a monthly business trip allowance and an extra 1000 yuan, but I don’t learn much from this job, and there’s no possibility of moving up the hierarchy (it’s a family-owned company). Now, there’s a small engineering company in Wuxi that wants me to work there; the salary would be roughly twice what I currently earn, but I would have to rent my own place and leave my parents. I’m reluctant to do that, and I’m not sure if the economic situation will continue to worsen. The workload in Wuxi isn’t heavy either – there are only 2 or 3 large-scale projects per year. I’m unsure whether this job offers stability, so I’m struggling with my decision. I hope everyone can give me some advice. Thank you. Just now I received a call from Wuxi; they want me to start working there next Monday. I’ve already delayed starting by almost a month… I’m confused. . . I told my direct supervisor that I wanted to leave, and he felt it was a shame; he tried to persuade me to stay. The cost of living in Wuxi is roughly the same as at home. As for career prospects, there are two possible paths: in Wuxi, the design industry is more structured, following traditional design firm practices, while at home the work environment is more relaxed with greater freedom. It’s not about the location itself – Wuxi is less than 60 kilometers from my home – but the living pressures are similar there as well

With the current situation, there aren’t many things that can bring a family together, right? So many elderly people living alone and children left behind. . .
I found an environmental protection company in my hometown (a third-tier city); it recently went public as well. A family-owned environmental protection company that is listed on the stock market? That should be nice!
The company has a good outlook, but the employees’ futures are uncertain; middle managers and junior leaders are all the boss’s relatives

Ask your family for their opinion! In fact, no matter where you go to make money, it’s more or less the same when compared to spending.

It’s a very small company, with only a dozen or so employees; its qualifications are borrowed from elsewhere, and it basically does work that involves helping others out, so it’s quite easy. The larger projects also belong to other people – they’re not assigned to us – so it’s hard to say what the future holds
