The question I have is: Since the instruments on site require heating, and that heating is to be provided by steam, under normal circumstances (that is, in a proper installation of steam heating), does the steam for heating one floor flow from one steam distribution station to another, or does it flow from the same steam distribution station? (In cases where there are multiple distribution stations on one floor.) I’m asking for help; there are also some common knowledge questions regarding the installation of steam systems. Please help me out, experts
I didn’t quite understand the question. My understanding is that certain areas of multiple instruments require heating; my question is, should steam and drain be provided separately? It’s still several gauges connected in series to the steam trap. To be honest, in most cases on-site, steam and drain lines are provided separately, so the design doesn’t pay too much attention to the investment required for these heating pipelines.
It is drawn centrally from the nearest steam source and led to the nearest condensate line. The heating of instruments is generally chaotic, which is due to the fact that heating was not taken into account when arranging the instruments. Now many have been changed to electric heat tracing.

I didn’t understand your question. If a steam manifold is used, there will also conventionally be a corresponding set of drain valve manifolds. Natural steam is the inlet, connected to the steam collector. The condensate pipeline is the outlet, connecting to the steam trap collector.

It’s usually placed on the first floor – it’s a common practice and makes maintenance easier; otherwise, one would have to go up and down the building to maintain each circuit. Not placing it on the same layer should not affect its performance.
How to distinguish between the steam distribution panels at the inlet and outlet of the instrument?
The steam pipeline leads to the steam distribution station, which usually is equipped with a drain valve; from there it goes to the condensate recovery station after connecting to the heat tracing instruments, and then the condensate is sent to the condensate pipeline. It’s not that the instruments are faulty; it’s just the process pipelines that are like that!
Typical instruments have dedicated steam distribution stations, with a unified air intake station and a water return station. All instruments have one input and one output.
