The design pressure is 2.5 MPa, the hydrostatic test pressure is 3.13 MPa, and the airtightness test pressure is 2.5 MPa. What grade of studs are required for these pressure tests?
There is no specified grade for the studs used in pressure testing, but at least grade 8.8 is required; a dedicated grade is even better, as the higher the grade of the studs, the safer it is.
This is not only related to pressure, but also to temperature, diameter, bolt material, etc.; it must be determined after calculations show that it meets the requirements.
