GB8982-2009 \"Oxygen for medical and aviation use\", and the second volume of the 2020 edition of the \"Chinese Pharmacopoeia\" – the Pharmacopoeia Commission issued a draft standard for oxygen-based drugs, in which specific requirements are set regarding the purity of medical oxygen, as well as the levels of trace amounts of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and moisture in oxygen, along with the methods for detecting these substances. The purity of oxygen must be at least 99.5%, the carbon monoxide content must not exceed 0.05% (5 ppm), the carbon dioxide content must not exceed 0.03% (300 ppm), and the moisture content must not exceed 0.0067% (67 ppm).
