How is the thickness of the flange gasket selected? Are there any standards to follow?
3 to 5 mm, I haven’t used any specific standard
There is a standard, HG20592 I guess; different diameters require different thicknesses corresponding to different pressures
Most are related to moderation, pipelines, and pressure resistance

Refer to HG-T20592~20635-2009 (Steel Pipe Flanges, Gaskets, and Fasteners) (with bookmarks), which is available for download on the forum. The gaskets also fall within this standard
It’s related to the pressure rating and pipe diameter as well!
Has it nothing to do with the material? It seems to be related to the material
