The No. 3 and No. 4 gasifiers in the gasification unit, as well as the turbines of the four series of propylene production units in the syngas purification unit, and the turbine of the refined cyclohydrogen compressor in the hydrogenation unit were all successfully tested. The No. 1 and No. 3 air handling units also succeeded in producing oxygen and nitrogen of qualified quality. On September 15, Phase A of the project’s oil processing unit was completed. Zone 1/3 of the gasification unit, Series IV of the purification units, Zone 2 of the oil processing unit, as well as the sulfur recovery and flare systems have all been completed within the scope specified in the design documents. The pipeline system is complete, and the electrical and instrumentation commissioning as well as the individual unit tests have been largely successful; thus, the facilities have been officially handed over for production, creating favorable conditions for subsequent production testing. On September 1, Shenhua Ningmei Group’s 4 million tons per year coal-to-oil project held a handover ceremony for Unit 1 & 3 of the gasification units, Unit 4 of the syngas purification system, Area 2 for oil processing, as well as the sulfur recovery and upstream/downstream flare systems. Ensure that the methanol line and Product A line are put into operation for trial runs on schedule. It is reported that the project team will carry out gasification feeding trial operations on October 1. Meanwhile, the project plans to start trial operations of the methanol line on October 15, and trial operations of oil product Line A on November 15, with the entire process to be operational by the end of the year, enabling the production of qualified oil products. On June 26, the AO tank system of the water treatment system for Shenhua Ningmei’s 4 million tons per year coal indirect liquefaction project was successfully commissioned. The AO tank system is an important component of the entire water treatment system, as well as a key section. This test run was a complete success, laying a solid foundation for the entire water system to be delivered on schedule. Upon completion, the project will be able to convert 20.46 million tons of coal per year, producing 2.73 million tons of blended diesel, 980,000 tons of naphtha, and 340,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas ； 200,000 tons of sulfur, 75,000 tons of mixed alcohols, and 107,000 tons of sulfuric acid AN were produced as by-products. The Shenhua Ningmei 4 million tons per year coal indirect liquefaction demonstration project commenced construction in September 2013, and was fully completed and put into operation in April 2017, with a total investment of 60 billion yuan.
