One must have a hobby, and it’s best to be a proper one. In 1975, Rongbaozhai purchased a painting by Li Keran for 80 yuan; yesterday it was sold for 180 million yuan. While this is an exception, if one invested in artworks or antiques back then, those items could be worth at least ten thousand times more today. In other words, something that cost just a few dozen yuan back then in the form of paintings by famous artists, jade artifacts, or porcelain can now be sold for hundreds of thousands of yuan quite easily. Radios that used to cost dozens or even hundreds of yuan can now be discarded without anyone wanting them, which shows just how important having the right hobbies are.
A hobby is just a hobby; if you try to make money or achieve something else through it, then it is no longer a hobby
I don’t have that vision, nor do I have the fate for it :(
Some things are nothing but hype; it comes down to the people behind the scenes and what they want to achieve. Used to be, when wearing a suit, one had to pair it with trousers; now mixing styles is popular.
I am someone who loves photography. . It’s just a waste of money. . :'(
I think capital is a prerequisite for having hobbies
I think it’s fine; going to Shanghai Chuan to have a look is a great hobby
The old fish is right; doing what you like is a hobby
Anything that one enjoys doing counts
